● Direct supervision of summer staff
● Ensuring staff are compliant with Bethel Horizons policies and procedures, and the overall goals of each weekly program.

● Guide the individual camper in participation in individual, total program unit and all-camp activities.

As the Camp Health Supervisor, this person is the health resource person for all summer campers and staff. This person will perform health checks of all campers, administer medications as needed, and administer emergency procedures as needed in accordance with ACA Standards, Wisconsin State

● Valid Red Cross First Aid, CPR/AED Certification.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Perform health checks of every camper on the first day of their camp week.
● Administer medication as needed.
● Administer emergency procedures as needed.
● Administer care and first aid for basic injury.
● Document all health-related interactions on our electronic system “CampWise.”
● Communicate with the guardians of campers as necessary to inform them of injury or otherwise.
● Refill and monitor First Aid Kits that are in the staff position.
● Refill and monitor First Aid Kits in each building and vehicle.
● Assist with daily job assignments assigned at the beginning of the week.

As the Lifeguard, this person will be responsible for the safety and supervision of campers and staff while swimming, canoeing or lazy-river tubing. Depending on the number of campers participating in each event, the lifeguard will work with one or more trained and certified staff to fulfill appropriate ratios as determined by the State of Wisconsin and the American Camping Association standards. POSITION SUMMARY:
You will be responsible for making menus and cooking for adult or youth campers. The population that we serve comes from a diverse set of socio-economic backgrounds. The cook is also responsible for keeping the kitchen clean and following state food safety codes. Creativity is

be able to play guitar. Should be comfortable with public speaking. Musician responsibilities include but

● Lead evening campfires, which includes planning and recording roughly an hour’s worth of songs and skits to perform each night, assigning staff to each skit, playing lead guitar for campfire songs, leading motions, and directing traffic around the campfire.
● Managing the attention and focus of up to 50 attendants at a campfire through song, dance, and enthusiastic storytelling. Reciting traditional Bethel Horizons stories at the close of the campfire.
● Lead groups of campers with music activities
● Take care of Bethel Horizons instruments, which include string, woodwind, brass instruments, keyboards, and percussion.
