Grades: 7th - 11th (represents grade completed)

Take a walk on the wild side and become a naturalist of the flora and fauna that inhabit the various ecosystems of Wisconsin. Learn about amphibians, reptiles, fish, birds, and mammals, while exploring nearly 550 acres of the Bethel Horizons property, from the upland prairies to the wetlands and ponds of the valley. Campers will explore different aspects of nature each day, with a special focus on one of our many wild local residents. Come and experience a hands-on animal encounter, where participants will have the opportunity to feed a tarantula, hold a 7 foot snake, set up trail cameras, and create their own terrarium.
