Portable Program

The Portable Program consists of Warm-ups, ice-breakers, teambuilding & trustbuidling activities, and group initiatives designed to have participants work and think together.  The Portable Program can be done at Horizons or at your site.

Low Ropes Challenge Course

The Low Ropes Challenge Courseconsists of Warm-ups, ice-breakers, teambuilding & trustbuidling activities, and group initiatives designed to have participants work and think together. This program includes the use of our Low Ropes Challenge Course a series of elements constructed of beams, cables, ropes and resources secured to trees.  This program is offered at Horizons.

Elements in the High Ropes Challenge Course consist of 8 Elements:  The Stationary Log, The Swinging Log, The Multi-Vine, The Tension Traverse, The Crossover, The Power Pole, and The Zip Line all at 35 feet in the air!

 

 

Rock Climbing

 

Climbing and Rappelling Tower

The Climbing and Rappelling Tower is 40 feet tall and consist of a Climbing Wall, Rappelling Wall, and a Dangle Duo.

Participants learn the basics of Rock Climbing and Rappelling techniques, equipment, philosophy and safety while climbing and rappelling on Horizons bluffs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Caving

Caving

Participants travel to one of Southwestern Wisconsin’s wild caves near Richland Center.  HAWC provides helmets, and flashlights.  Participants wear clothing that can get dirty and keep them warm in the muddy and naturally cool cave. 

Facilitators then lead the way into the wild cave. Participants learn about cave formations as they navigate through large and narrow passageways of the limestone cave.
