Discovering Art in Nature Presents Wildflower Press

A collaboration between Adamah Clay Studios and Bethel Horizons Nature Center.
Participants will spend the day exploring the Prairie Trails, learning about the unique native Wisconsin flora, and collecting samples of common and plentiful species to be preserved with a ready-made flower press. After completion of the workshop, all flowers and their press are available to take home from the Adamah Clay Studio.

A collaboration between Adamah Clay Studios and Bethel Horizons Nature Center.
This fun- and fact-filled workshop will enlighten you about the many fascinating aspects of native landscaping. Learn about subjects such as wildflower gardens, habitat restoration, and landscaping with native plants. In the afternoon, use natural materials to create ornaments and decorations that will benefit both native birds, insects, and the environment.

Discovering Art in Nature Presents Creating Sundials
Oct. 30, 2021, 9 a.m. - Oct. 30, 2021, 4 p.m.
A collaboration between Adamah Clay Studios and Bethel Horizons Nature Center.
Participants will spend the day exploring the Old Valley Trail while learning about the sun dial, the earliest time telling device. Topics include Sundial history, design, and positioning, along with some insights into Earth-Sun geometry. The afternoon will be spent constructing garden Sundials of your own, with tips on how to use them and where to place them.
