Upcoming Projects

The Friends of Horizons is a group of people who assist with projects which assist the programs of Bethel Horizons.  Activities take place at Bethel Horizons, Bethel Lutheran Church and at Willow Island near the Alliant Center.  A board of eight people give direction to the work projects. Friends of Bethel Horizons Upcoming Projects

Lenten lunches/dinners at Bethel Lutheran Church
Volunteers are needed to help with noon lunches and the dinner meal. 
Jobs include: Kitchen assistance, dishwashers, servers, cleanup. 
Lenten Lunches:  Lynne Frits                         

Lenten Dinners:  Anna Biermeier
Dates: Every Wednesday during lent

Brat Fest at Willow Island near the Alliant Center  Friends work at various jobs at the Brat Fest. 
Each hour worked earns money for the programs
of Bethel Horizons.  Dates: May 25-28, 2012

Special Days
Earth Day Celebration, the Bikeathon and the Bethel Congregational Picnic are days when volunteers are needed to assist with food service at Horizons.

Board members occasionally call Friends for special one-day projects throughout the year.
